FiftyPlusConnect.com celebrates the PLUS in FiftyPlus. It focuses on the positive aspects of being over fifty and independent. The site creates an efficient environment for people in their prime to connect via the internet. FiftyPlusConnect.com doesn't assume that the goal of every member is marriage. We feel that there is a variety of relationships that seasoned and sophisticated people seek. Perhaps a site member living in Oregon travels to New York City on business, and would like a theater companion. Maybe a New Yorker would like to find a travel partner for an adventure to Sweden. Of course, more serious and lasting relationships may develop. The site will build online content relevant to its population. In addition to the usual dating site fare of relationship tips and safety advice, we will be adding relevant information for this demographic group on health and other life-style issues. The site will develop into a premier internet destination for those 50 years and above. Another feature of FiftyPlusConnect.com will be a Chat Room especially for widows and widowers. Those who have lost their mates have specific issues which others don't have. Plus, it may be helpful to reintroduce oneself to the world of socializing via the internet where a user can remain anonymous. On the internet, people can get to know each other slowly, over time.
